The firm's principal, Alexander C. Malcolm, is a licensed lawyer in Ontario, and a Member of the Law Society of Upper Canada. Mr. Malcolm completed his articles of clerkship in 1997 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1998, and has been practising law in civil litigation since that time.
Previous to incorporating his own firm, Mr. Malcolm mentored under several of the most outstanding lawyers in southern Ontario, and honed his advocacy skills while litigating cases on behalf of individuals and corporations.
Mr. Malcolm's focus is in personal injury and civil litigation. Mr. Malcolm has represented individuals, corporations and insurance companies as counsel in trials in the Superior Court of Justice. He has represented numerous clients in mediations and negotiated settlements of hotly disputed cases for significant sums of money. In all cases there is a common theme; the best result is achieved for Mr. Malcolm's clients.
Mr. Malcolm works directly on each case. Whereas some firms assign carriage of cases to paralegals or young associates, you will find that Mr. Malcolm is with you every step of the way, involved in your case, and representing you in meetings and court proceedings.
Mr. Malcolm graduated in 1996 from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Laws degree, and he also has an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto.
Mr. Malcolm is a proud member of the Law Society Of Upper Canada, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and the Hamilton Law Association.
